What role can pumpers play in beneficially reusing waste materials, i.e. alternative energy products, composting, etc?
Thank you for your interest in the National Association of Wastewater Transporter’s (NAWT’s) William Hapchuk Memorial Scholarship Fund.
To file a completed application, it will be necessary for you, the applicant, to follow the steps below and to complete the form on the reverse side as directed.
1. Application. Only full-time college students by the Fall of 2009 are eligible for the William Hapchuk Memorial Scholarship Fund.
2. Essay. You, the applicant, must provide an essay of 500 words or less, responding to the question “What role can pumpers play in beneficially reusing waste materials, i.e. alternative energy products, composting, etc?”
The following information and materials are to be sent to the William Hapchuk Scholarship Fund Scholarship Committee via electronic format (email to info@nawt.org, or on disk to the NAWT office):
1. The completed “Application” form (you may convey the same information electronically without the form);
2. Your typed essay of 500 words or less in electronic format.
All applications for scholarship must be completed by you, the applicant, and returned, if by postal service, with the form on the reverse side and typed essay, postmarked no later than February 10, 2009, to the NAWT office.
The winner will be notified on or shortly after February 20, 2008.
Please be reminded that you may reapply for this scholarship annually.
Application information is confidential and may be evaluated by an outside independent consultant.
