Info: The Vacuum Truck Technician training course is targeted to those that own or operate a vacuum truck which is used to clean septic tanks, aerobic treatment units, holding tanks or grease traps. It is directed specifically at owners and employees who may just be starting in business and need a good solid base of information to work with to perform their daily tasks. At the same time this one day training provides a good refresher and overview for even experienced operators.

Each paper focuses on one of four topic areas of decentralized wastewater treatment, demonstrating how decentralized wastewater treatment can be: (1) a sensible solution; (2) cost effective and economical; (3) green and sustainable; and (4) protective of the environment, public health, and water quality.

WIFIA Program

Over the next month, EPA will be hosting a series of informational sessions about the Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) program. The sessions are targeted at prospective WIFIA borrowers including municipal entities, corporations, partnerships, State Revolving Fund programs and non-governmental organizations, and organizations that support prospective borrowers.
